Rangers Protocol Upgrades Its Cross-Chain Tool

Rangers Protocol, the backbone of a Web3 engine, is now releasing an upgrade for one of its core technologies, Rangers Bridge cross-chain tool.

What is Rangers Bridge?

Rangers Bridge is a tool of Rangers Connector, an infrastructure aspiring to be the best heterogeneous cross-chain solution leveraging the relay chain technology. Rangers Connector removes the cross-chain communication barriers by supporting both FT and NFTs from an infrastructure level.

Rangers Connector, the underlying infrastructure of the Rangers Bridge can already support the transaction of FT and NFTs among EVM-compatible blockchains and could also be integrated with other blockchains. During the cross-chain process, Rangers Connector can utilize the expanded NFT protocols of Rangers Mainnet to retain historical usage data of NFTs, and thus enhance the commercial value and information circulation of assets.

Rangers Bridge already supports the cross-chain of RPG tokens between Ethereum, BNB chain, and Rangers Mainnet. With external developers, Rangers Bridge could be scaled regarding blockchain and asset support based on its solution.

This year, Rangers Bridge will obtain a more decentralized cross-chain consensus verification, after the Rangers Connector is upgraded to a Secure MPC Chain based on VRF+TSS (ECDSA).

Rangers Bridge Latest Updates

The upgraded version of Rangers Bridge involves the two enhanced core features, namely FT cross-chain and NFT cross-chain services. Over the course of June2022, Rangers Bridge underwent a series of updates, allowing it to become a maturer ready-to-use tool.

*Users can experience the NFT functions after other projects integrate their NFTs with Rangers Bridge.

Rangers Bridge User Experience

FT Cross-Chain

The current version of Rangers Bridge’s FT cross-chain function now supports RPG cross-chain. The Bridge itself is free of charge, however, the gas fee for the target chain is required. Please ensure sufficient RPG in your wallet before conducting FT cross-chain. You can find all of your transaction history by clicking “History.”

Below you can find a comprehensive tutorial on how to make use of the currently usable FT cross-chain services.

1. Enter the Rangers Bridge page.

2. Select the source chain in the dropdown menu under “From” and the target chain that you wish in the dropdown menu under “To”.

3. Enter the number of RPG tokens that need to be transferred.

Tip: The deducted fees are in the native token of the source chain and are used for the gas fees of source chain and target chain transactions; For any questions and concerns, please visit our FAQ page.

4. Click History in the navigation bar to view your cross-chain history.

Upcoming Developments

To further increase the development progress, Rangers Protocol is currently searching for developer partners to contribute to the scaling of the Rangers Bridge tool. The development contributions are likely to include the scaling of both FT and NFT asset support, and also the integration with more blockchains.
