Rangers Protocol Progress Report, June 2024

Monthly Report: June

The past month has been productive and fast-paced, but our technical team demonstrated outstanding capabilities, successfully achieving our first-half-year goals. The Rangers Protocol mainnet operated stably, accumulating 63 million blocks.

Rangers Mainnet

Rangers Mainnet Data Layer Development:

We resolved the issue of unstable transaction packaging order across different Go runtime environment versions. This update has been deployed to the mainnet, with 100% completion.

Rangers Mainnet Consensus Layer:

We optimized the mainnet functionality, improving node startup speed by 100%. This update has been deployed to the mainnet with 100% completion.

We also added a dynamic block difficulty adjustment mechanism to the mainnet functionality. This mechanism adjusts based on statistics from the last 36,000 blocks to ensure consistent block speed. This update has been deployed to the mainnet with 100% completion.

Website Updates:

We revamped the website code, maintaining a 1:1 reproduction of the old version, including recruitment and documentation. This is 95% complete.

Upcoming Developments:

We have a piece of eagerly anticipated news regarding the Node Management System. We plan to open some public nodes for users to stake. This project is still in the initial planning stage, with a progress of 10%.

In June, besides the Rangers Mainnet, the Rangers Connector was also busy, operating stably and accumulating 5,023,036 blocks.

Rangers Connector

Rangers Connector Data Layer Development:

We addressed the issue of obtaining, connecting, downloading, parsing, and storing TON chain node information, allowing for heterogeneous chain communication. This task is 40% complete.

Cross-Chain Bridge Updates:

We added ERC-1155 cross-chain support to the cross-chain bridge functionality. Although there are no immediate plans for mainnet deployment, Robin Testnet environment has accepted the update, which is 100% complete.

Additionally, we optimized the front-end effect of ID and value selection in ERC-1155 cross-chain. This task is 100% complete. Users can expect a more stable, faster, and diverse cross-chain service experience in the future. Stay tuned.

As we reach the halfway point of 2024, we extend our gratitude to our ecosystem partners and users for their support and recognition. Moving forward, we will continue to take steady steps, always prioritizing user needs. Our aim is to develop higher-quality, faster, and more diversified products, providing our ecosystem users with more convenience and endless possibilities.
